Viet Little Ones

Viet Little Ones is a language learning application designed specifically to help Vietnamese children ages from 5 to 11 living oversea to learn the Vietnamese language. A survey was sent out to families who have been living abroad and have kids. They all agree that they struggle with educating their children in what should have been their mother tongue. They all also agreed on the importance of this matter. The objective of Viet Little Ones is to take the stress off the parents by teaching the language with context tailored to the child's interest instead of teaching them with a fixed curriculum. This will target UNICEF’s sustainability goal 4 – education quality; and goal 17 - partnerships for the goal. The main content of this application is learning the alphabet, vocabulary, and digital story book. With Viet Little Ones, children can learn Vietnamese in a fun and meaningful way.

Hi :)) I'm Thu-Yên; you can call me Erin. I was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, in a family of architects. Surrounded by art from a young age, I knew I wanted to have a career creating something, and with the desire to solve problems, life brought me to Graphic Design. I'm still learning and exploring what I can do. But currently, I'm working towards experiential design. I want to create projects that not only are visually appealing but also the audience can participate in.
